Second International Meeting in Romania
The Second International Meeting of the European Union Erasmus+ Sport Project was held in Romania.
The second international meeting of the European Union Erasmus+ Sport Project entitled Sport and Physical Activity Against Children’s Technology Addiction, which is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, was held on 7-8 February 2019, hosted by the Romania National Institute for Sport Research which is one of the project partners.
The others partners, Fundación Deportiva Municipal (Spain) and Antalya Youth and Sports Club Association (Turkey) were also attended the second international meeting of project.
On the first day of the meeting, a seminar on technology addiction was held with the participation of local institutions, academicians, athletes, coaches and teachers. On the second day, the partners were interviewed about the overall evaluation of the project and what to do in the remaining process.
Later, the headquarter of National Sports Research Institute of Romania and some sports facilities were visited by all of the project team under the guidance of the host.
The Erasmus Sport project, which was prepared in order to create equal opportunities for the society in the coordination of the Turkish Sport for All Federation and to raise awareness on the promotion of health activities in the community, and the promotion of volunteer activities in the sport, started on 1st of January, 2018 and will end on 30th of June 2019.
